Dear Parents of Pioneer Ward Primary Children:
We are so excited to study the Book of Mormon in primary this year. Our desire is that each of the children will grow in testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon , that Christ is their Savior, and that Joseph Smith is a true prophet who restored the gospel to the earth. To this end, our primary has instituted the following for 2020: A scripture each month, taken from the Come, Follow Me reading assignments, to study and learn. A bookmark, given to each child, listing our monthly scriptures with a place beside each for parent initials. During the assigned month, we encourage you to study the listed scripture with your child as part of your family Come, Follow Me lessons. When your child has memorized the passage (or their appropriate ability equivalent... you know your child best), initial in the blank box beside the scripture. Your child can then show the presidency their bookmark on Sunday to get a small treat. A song or two each month that c...
