August Update

We hope you have had an enjoyable summer and that the upcoming school year is looking bright.

The Pioneer Ward primary scripture for this month is Alma 53:20:
And they were all young men, and they were exceedingly valiant for courage, and also for strength and activity; but behold, this was not all---they were men who were true at all times in whatsoever thing they were entrusted.

We welcome the McLeskey family to our ward and our primary.  We look forward to getting to know Madison, Logan, and Parker.

Congratulations to our newly baptized friends!  Derek, Pierce, and Georgia were baptized last month.  We are so pleased and excited for them.

Do you have senior primary children?  Now would be a great time for them to refocus on the goals they set earlier this year and to make new ones.  As a reminder, each child should work toward a goal from each of the four categories: spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social.  If you need a refresher on the church's Children and Youth program, see this link.

June Update

Our scripture for the month of June is Alma 17:2-3: "...They were men of a sound understanding and they had searched the scriptures diligently, that they might know the word of God.  But this is not all; they had given themselves to much prayer, and fasting; therefore they had the spirit of prophecy, and the spirit of revelation, and when they taught, they taught with power and authority of God.
