September Update

Our primary scripture for the month is 3 Nephi 5:13:
Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  I have been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they might have everlasting life.

If your child has memorized any of our bookmark/monthly scriptures for which they have not received their prize, let their teacher know and we will make sure to drop by with a small treat.

The Primary General Presidency has asked that each family hold their own Primary Program due to their cancellation at the ward level.  You may want to sing some of the songs that we learned in the beginning of the year or those that we were going to learn together.  You might ask your children to share their testimonies or to share what they have learned from their study of the Book of Mormon this year.  

Here is our Primary Playlist for the songs that were to be learned in our primary in 2020.  Or you might use the Sing-Along app from the church, which is a fantastic resource.

Congratulations to Kate and Bridget on their baptisms last month!

Sister Green will be sending out a video of the pictures that we took of the children over the summer.  It will be sent to the household email listed in Tools.  Please update that if needed and watch for it to come.

Each Sunday that our ward meets for sacrament, there will be a simple handout at the back of the chapel relating to the primary lesson for that week.  Please look for them and feel free to take one for each of your children to aid in their study and sabbath observance.

June Update

Our scripture for the month of June is Alma 17:2-3: "...They were men of a sound understanding and they had searched the scriptures diligently, that they might know the word of God.  But this is not all; they had given themselves to much prayer, and fasting; therefore they had the spirit of prophecy, and the spirit of revelation, and when they taught, they taught with power and authority of God.
